a journey of AV production...
My path started by wondering: "How?"
How did the man on a cassette sleeve mix these different pieces of songs together?
How do the lights at the show create such a dramatic effect?
Why does a microphone sound good in one instance but not in another?
The answers came from experience in the field, education from manufacturers, leading crew, learning from elders, and as with many crafts- failure teaches the best lessons and forged best practices and habits.
My scope includes system design and management of performance venue, nightclub, restaurant, web conference, trade show, VR, podcasting, dance studio, house of worship and more.

Powerhouse Arts is a non-profit creative production center which hosts it's own programs and rental clients. One of my roles is to lead event production and venue management in preparation, during and after events. Separately, I am overseeing the system design, staffing, and upkeep of all web conferencing systems, digital signage, AV+ IT collaborations, and varying AV needs of the Ceraminc, Print, Metal, Public Art, Wood, and Food&Beverage departments for their daily work and special programs.

Technical Arts Group is an event production company specializing in audio, video, lighting, staging, and event eanagement services and rentals. As audio manager I worked closely with internal/external program managers and audio engineers to build, repair and deploy their intended audio solutions ranging from small private events to arena concerts. I was also overseeing a staff of four technicians that worked together in response to dailly, weekly and monthly goals for equipment management and deployment.Â

B&H is one of the main sources of professional equipment needed for any level of stage production, video production, photography, and IT services. I helped countless people navigate their choices of solutions for their personal lives and/or organizations. In addition to sales I provided product troubleshooting and served as an installation guide in-person and virtually. I helped develop the Pro Audio training department to equip our staff with the best hands-on knowledge. I also served as touring production technician for trade shows and events.Â
